This page explains which cookies and which third-party services the sublimare.it website uses, what they are for and how you can choose which ones to allow. It applies to every page of the site.
1. Who the data controller is
Imos Holding Srl – registered office: V.le Capitan Consalvo, 2 – 00122 Rome (RM), Italy; operating office: Via Monfalcone, 56 – 64021 Giulianova (TE), Italy. VAT / Tax code 10384151006.
Email: info@sublimare.it – certified email (PEC): imos-holding@pec.it
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the site saves in your browser, either to make it work or to remember certain information as you move from one page to another. Some are set directly by this site, others by the third-party services the site uses.
3. Which cookies we use
- Necessary – these are needed for the site to work and stay secure (for example our hosting provider’s bot protection) and to remember your cookie choice. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
- Statistics – Google Analytics tells us, in aggregate form, how many people visit the site and which pages they look at, so that we can improve it. It is activated only if you accept it: until you give your consent, Google’s service is not even loaded.
- Functional – the Google Maps maps on the property pages and on the Contact page. Until you allow them, you will find a placeholder with a «Show the map» button instead of the map: Google receives data about your visit only if you accept functional cookies or press that button.
- Marketing – the site currently uses no marketing or profiling cookies.
4. List of cookies
This list is the same one you find in the banner preferences, and it is updated together with it.
5. Other third-party services
- Scidoo – the module used to check availability and book is provided by Scidoo, which receives the data needed to show you availability and to manage the booking.
- Cloudflare Turnstile – protects the contact forms from spam by verifying that whoever is writing is not an automated program.
- WhatsApp – the button at the bottom right opens a conversation on WhatsApp (Meta). Until you press it, no data is sent to WhatsApp.
6. Transfer of data outside the European Union
Google (Analytics and Maps) and Meta (WhatsApp) may also process data in the United States. Both companies adhere to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of protection.
7. How to give, refuse or withdraw your consent
On your first visit a banner asks you which cookies you wish to allow: you can accept them all, refuse them, or choose category by category. Your choice is remembered for 6 months.
You can change your mind at any time using the cookie-shaped icon at the bottom left, or from here: change your cookie preferences. Withdrawing your consent is as easy as giving it.
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings; in that case some parts of the site may not work.
8. Your rights
To find out how we process your personal data and what rights you have (access, rectification, erasure, objection, lodging a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority) please read the Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, write to info@sublimare.it.
